As a family-run business linked to Barossa Farm Stables, we have been caring for animals since 1974. With over 50 years of specialist expertise in animal welfare, we combine professional knowledge with genuine compassion, providing exceptional care in a peaceful rural setting on the outskirts of Reading, Berkshire.
Owned and run by father-and-daughter team Pete and Kerri, dogs have always been at the heart of everything we do. Pete served as a dog handler in the Army and has spent a lifetime caring for and training dogs. A lifelong dog enthusiast, he has never been without a canine companion. Following in his footsteps, Kerri has shared that same passion from an early age. Having owned and cared for a variety of breeds, including German Shepherds, Border Collies and English Pointers, she understands that every dog is unique and deserves individual care, attention and plenty of exercise. Kerri is also trained in Canine First Aid, giving owners added confidence that their dogs are in knowledgeable and capable hands should an emergency arise.

Our idyllic countryside location provides the perfect environment for dogs to relax, socialise and play. Surrounded by beautiful rural scenery and bordering Bramshill Forest, we offer the ideal balance of adventure, exercise and comfort.
Our facilities include:
- Seven purpose-built indoor kennels, designed to stay cool in summer and warm in winter.
- Comfortable heated accommodation for year-round comfort.
- A large, secure outdoor play area for supervised play and enrichment.
- Optional countryside walks through the beautiful Bramshill Forest.
- Access to secure exercise paddocks where energetic dogs can run, explore and burn off energy safely under supervision.
